Here's to the one that started it all!

The YMCA of Southern Interior BC, formerly the YMCA of Okanagan, is proud to serve the Rutland community. The Kelowna Family Y is owned by the City of Kelowna and operated by the YMCA. Since opening in 1981, we’ve made continuous upgrades and adjustments to the facility, programs, and equipment to adapt to the changing needs of our members through generations. Learn about our 40-year history.

But what hasn’t changed is our dedication to improving the overall health and wellness of people of all ages and stages in spirit, mind, and body. Every day, the centre is bustling with seniors socializing while improving their mobility, and children laughing and engaging in active play-based learning. There’s space for individuals of all fitness levels, and everyone is welcome.
